Ravioli & Spinach Bone Broth Soup

Looking for a quick meal? Here’s a wonderful Ravioli and Spinach soup that’s quick to make. It’s super healthy and delicious too! 

Ingredients:

  • Bone Brewhouse Traditional bone broth

  • 1 package (9 ounces) refrigerated small cheese ravioli

  • 4 cups coarsely chopped fresh spinach (about 4 ounces)

  • Optional: shredded cooked chicken and grated Parmesan cheese

In a saucepan, heat the Bone Brewhouse bone broth and bring to a boil. Add ravioli and cook, uncovered, for 7-10 minutes or until tender. Add spinach and chicken during the last 3 minutes of cooking. Optional: Serve with cheese. 

 

Bone Broth Vodka Caesar

If you are seriously into bone broth then trying a broth-tail is your next step (if you haven’t already). Once you try bone broth in a cocktail, you might find that it mellows the alcohol out and for some, makes it easier and more enjoyable to drink.

So, if you’re interested — or at the very least, curious – start with this Bone Broth Vodka Caesar. Here’s the recipe.

  • 2 ounces Bone Brewhouse Traditional bone broth

  • 2 ounces vodka

  • 2 ounces tomato juice

  • Juice of ½ lemon

  • 2 dashes hot sauce

  • 1 dash Worcestershire Sauce

  • ½ teaspoon horseradish

  • ¼ teaspoon celery salt

  • Freshly grated black pepper (to taste)

Heat bone broth in a small pot just until room temperature and no longer gelled. Combine all ingredients in a blender until well combined. Serve with a celery stalk, piece of beef jerky, or pickled vegetables. 

St. Patrick's Day Potato Bone Broth Soup

In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, a traditional Irish potato soup recipe made with Bone Brewhouse Traditional bone broth. Good health, good life, good bone broth! Here’s the recipe.

Ingredients: 

  • 1 large onion

  • 3 medium potatoes

  • 2 ounces of butter

  • 4 cups of chicken stock

  • 1/2 cup of cream

  • salt and pepper to season

  • parsley to garnish

Peel and dice the onion and potatoes. Melt the butter in a large saucepan. Add the onion and cook for one minute coating completely in butter. Add the potatoes and toss well with the onion and melted butter. Cover the saucepan and sweat the vegetables for 10 minutes, shaking the pot every few minutes to prevent sticking.

Pour in the bone broth and simmer the soup for 20 minutes until the potatoes are tender. Turn off the heat and allow to cool, Purée the soup using a hand held blender or in batches in a blender. Add the cream and mix well together. Season with salt and pepper to taste. And serve with green beer!!

Super Bowl Turkey Chili

It’s Game Day and we have our Sunday game plan ready with this Super Bowl Turkey Chili. It’s easy to prepare, flavourful and healthy. It's full of beans, sweet potatoes, turkey and bone broth. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 1¼ lbs ground turkey
• 1 onion, chopped
• 3 garlic cloves, chopped
• ½ tsp cinnamon
• 1 tbsp chili powder
• 1 tbsp cumin
• 1 28 oz can of diced tomatoes with juice
• 2 cups Bone Brewhouse Traditional broth
• 2 cups diced sweet potatoes
• 1 can black beans, rinsed
• 1 can maple baked beans
• salt and pepper
• shredded cheese for serving

Swirl olive oil in a dutch oven and brown turkey until cooked, remove from heat and set aside. Brown onions and garlic in another tsp of olive oil until done. Add turkey back to pot with onions and add spices. Stir and cook for one minute. Add tomatoes and juices, Bone Brewhouse traditional stock, beans and sweet potatoes. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 10 minutes or until potatoes are softened. Salt and pepper to taste. Top with cheese and serve hot. 

Pho Bone Broth & Vietnamese-inspired Soup

Our Pho bone broth is aromatic, perfectly spiced and better than chicken noodle soup during cold and flu season. I created this protein-packed version of a Vietnamese-inspired soup by simply adding udon noodles and garnish. 

Simply, thaw our Pho bone broth overnight in refrigerator or run container under hot water to loosen broth. Heat in a covered saucepan on medium heat and stir frequently till hot. Once the broth is heated, it’s this easy:

  • Add cooked udon noodles to a bowl

  • Pour broth over noodles

  • Add cooked protein (chicken, beef or tofu) and garnish ingredients (green onions, lime, cilantro, red and crushed chili peppers)

  • Boom!

Roasted Sweet Potato & Carrot Soup

Kicking off soup season with a Roasted Sweet Potato and Carrot Soup (made with Bone Brewhouse bone broth, of course). Serve as a side dish to a family dinner or enjoy as a meal all to yourself! Not only is this soup delicious but our Lemon Ginger broth adds an added immune boost to your health too. 

Ingredients:
1 cup sweet potatoes peeled and cut into chunks
2 large carrots and cut into chunks
3 tbsp olive oil
2 onions finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 container Bone Brewhouse Lemon Ginger bone broth
coconut greek yogurt 

Directions:
Heat oven to 400F and put the sweet potatoes, carrots, garlic and onions into a large roasting tin, drizzled with 2 tbsp olive oil. Roast the veg in the oven for 25-30 mins or until caramelized and tender. Meanwhile, put bone broth from frozen in a large deep saucepan and heat over medium-low heat for about 10 mins, then set aside. Once the roasted veg is done, leave to cool a little, then transfer everything to a blender or to your saucepan and use a hand blender to process until smooth. Serve in bowls topped with a swirl of yogurt and a good grinding of black pepper. Enjoy!
